More Tofu Cooking

This Thursday, my other group of 2nd year students made tofu. I was able to be there from the beginning and see the whole process. Who knew it was so much work to make tofu?

First, you start with soybeans.

After the mixture is boiled, it is poured into cheese cloth and strained. The leftover pulp is taken out, and the liquid is put into a tofu "box" where it is molded into shape.

After some time has passed, the tofu is firm enough to remove from the box, into a tub of water, and to be eaten.
